Nearpod

Hello everyone, today I will explain about Nearpod. Nearpod is an app that is similar to Power Point. Let me show you the steps to make your lessons and a brief explanation about it. 

1. The Home will look like this. To make your lesson immediately, you can choose create. Your lesson will be saved in Library.

  

2. If you choose create from Home you will a page like this. If it's from Library, you can choose new.

3. Last. Choose the one you want to add. 

    Add content, for new slide or other sources.

    Add web content, copy link url of the web that you want to add.

    Add activity, like quiz, draw, and etc.

This context is for school learning. And the target students are in the level of seventh school grader. My Nearpod lesson talks about countable and uncountable nouns. From slide to slide, there are examples of questions and pictures, it takes about 15 slides. There are 2 slides for quizzes and in the last slide, contain a link of British Council as your homework for studying.

The good point is that we were able to immediately see where the students were having difficulty and correct their work at the point of the mistake. But there are still some difficulties in the progress of making my Nearpod. You have to match what your students need first then you can choose what material that you want to explain. Plus, it is important to have internet access to do Nearpod. In my Nearpod, I learn to improve my creativity skills, to make my slides look good and not boring. In this way, I realize that I have to learn more about Nearpod and how to create it beautifully and fun to do.
